Sanden Europe Earns EcoVadis Silver Medal for Sustainability Performance

Overall score of 72 points, ranking in the top 15% of assessed companies

Sanden International (Europe) GmbH (SIE) has been awarded the Silver Medal by EcoVadis, a globally recognized sustainability assessment organization.

In the latest assessment, Sanden Europe achieved an overall score of 72 points, representing an improvement of 14 points compared to the previous evaluation. As a result, Sanden Europe ranked within the top 15% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis, demonstrating strong recognition of the region’s continuous efforts in sustainability.

This achievement marks a significant advancement from the previous Bronze Medal, which placed Sanden Europe within the top 35% of evaluated companies.

About the EcoVadis

EcoVadis is an international sustainability rating platform designed to evaluate and benchmark companies’ sustainability performance against their peers and to transparently share the results with customers.

Currently, more than 150,000 companies across over 220 industries in more than 185 countries are assessed annually.

The Europe Region has advanced sustainability initiatives with a strong focus on governance, including:

・  Voluntary disclosures aligned with EcoVadis requirements, with a view toward the Corporate                Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)

・  Introduction of the Sanden Europe Code of Conduct

・  Revisions to the Sanden Group Human Rights Policy and Supplier Basic Policy

In addition, the Europe Region has established a pre‑assessment and evaluation framework for sustainable procurement, working to enhance transparency across the entire supply chain and strengthen risk management.
