Sanden’s European Operations Awarded the “Volvo Cars Quality Excellence Award 2025”

Highest recognition for product quality and stable supply capabilities of  electric compressors supporting the era of electrification

Sanden International (Europe) GmbH (SIE) is pleased to announce that, Sanden International (Europe) GmbH (SIE) and its manufacturing subsidiary Sanden Manufacturing Europe S.A.S. (SME) in France, have received the “Volvo Cars Quality Excellence Award 2025 (VQE)” from Volvo Car Corporation (Head Office: Gothenburg, Sweden; hereinafter “Volvo Cars”).

This award is presented to suppliers in the European region based on Volvo Cars’ evaluation items and criteria, with comprehensive assessment of their overall performance. Sanden earned a perfect score of 300 points in Volvo Cars’ global supplier evaluation for the electric compressors supplied to Volvo Cars, recognizing both stable product quality and strong supply capability, which led to this prestigious award.

To maintain a high level of quality and drive continuous improvement, Sanden is engaged in the following three key initiatives:

■ Maintaining High Quality Standards

Thorough change point management, formalization of quality and decision-making standards, and establishment of globally consistent quality.

■ Strengthening Production and Logistics Systems to Ensure Stable Supply

■ Establishing Long-Term Supply Capability

Ensuring long-term supply capability through the execution of production strategies and investment plans based on mid- to long-term demand outlook, as well as strengthening process robustness and risk management.
